What Wattpad?
One would think that the phenomenon of online self-publishing and the relative creative freedom it affords to writers would greatly affect, even diminish, the way that traditional publishing works. But while Wattpad has enabled many writers, especially younger and emerging ones, to have an online presence and following, it is interesting to note that what started out as a novel and independent way of publishing is being re-appropriated into mainstream publishing.
